Suggestions & Support
The Silk Road and Central Asia is far too diverse and vast for me to cover it exhaustively or to capture all the key sites; if you have a suggestion or recommendation for me to visit a place of historical significance or of outstanding natural beauty, please let me know! For example, I have considered adding some sections of Kazakhstan or more of Kyrgyzstan and/or trying my hand at some trekking and climbing (e.g. Peak Lenin on the Kyrgyzstan–Tajikistan border, since K2 base-camp treks don't seem to be running during 2024) .
If you feel like supporting a particular venture you can do so as well if you wish, merely follow the links below.
Suggestions
If you are curious about the Silk Road also, and you find a place of special historical or natural significance and beauty, please email me with a description/location, and I will see if I can pay it a visit and write/film about it for you. I am mostly driving during this trip, so there are some limitations, but I will do what I can.
If the Silk Road and Central Asia are new to you and you still want to suggest something, please see below for a fascinating reading list. Otherwise, please enjoy the book recommendations.
